Duties and responsibilities of volunteers at the home.

1. Teach the children or help them to do their homework during study hours and entertain them with music, song, games etc.

2. Help to keep the home clean.

3. Help and monitor to cleanliness of the children.

4. Teach the children to take care their belongings and give them moral education.

5. Make a report of individual child's academic performance, health condition and co-curricular activities and submit to the home manger.

6. Make suggestions to the home mangers for improvement.

7. Make a close contact with the education officer and the school to understand the children better.

8. Keep a record of all stationeries and games items give to the children.

Benefits

1. The meal provided for the children is provided to the volunteers as well.

2. A room is provided at the home, which may have to be shared if the home has more than one volunteer but individual bed will be provided.

3. The volunteers have to bear the cost, if he/she wants to eat food items other than the food for the children.

4. Volunteers staying out of the home will have to pay the rent themselves.

5. All personal belongings have to be managed by the volunteers themselves.

6. The home manager must be informed to go outside and must be back within the given time.

7. Any problems faced by the volunteers have to be reported to the home manager for all possible help.

The Volunteers are not allowed to do the following.

1. Smoking, drinking alcohol or using any drugs is not allowed in the home.

2. Use of bad words, frightening the children etc may bring psychological problems, which is not allowed.

3. The children can be taken out of the home by taking permission from the home manager only.
